There was a long pending need amongst exhibition organisers to form an only organisers forum where the concerns and issues of organisers could be addressed and represented which could further complement and supplement the work done by existing industry bodies.

CIEO's mission is to be the source of support, guidance and mentoring for Indian Exhibiton and Conference organisers which we will achieve externally by working with stakeholders like government, venues, service providers and internally by building a culture of knowledge sharing and inclusive growth.
The need for forming a new council for Indian Exhibition Organisers
Simply for the fact that the Organiser is the focal point for this sector who is responsible to weave success for the entire value chain comprising of venues, service providers and our stakeholders - the industry and MSMEs at large.
We would actively take forward the Indian exhibition and conference organizing industry towards missing 2030, an era of high growth and globalisation for Indian players.
Exhibition Organisers, not over 100 from varied backgrounds such as Industry Associations, Business Chambers, Trade Bodies, Trusts, Large Exhibition Organisers, Small and Medium Scale Organisers, and MSME Organisers endorsed have got together to form this unique and Organiser Centric' Council in India.
The Council would establish working partnerships with Governments, International & National Federations, EPC's, Venues, Service Providers and Strategic Partners to address common and critical issues to ensure a thriving exhibition organising sector in India.
To form a collective forum for discussion, negotiation and representation with government bodies, venue owners, vendors and contractors.
Represent to the Government to provide a level playing field by making Government schemes and subsidies available to private organisers.
To provide a one-stop source of information pertaining to exhibition industry.
The Council would be governed by members of the Steering Committee comprising of a maximum of 12 members. Overs and above, the Steering Committee, there would be several Special Task Force Committees set up for overseeing various activities of the Council.
